MENTAL HEALTH CARE FOR ALL: LET’S MAKE IT A REALITY 

For almost two years now, every single person in the world has been going through unprecedented times with the global pandemic. We’ve faced challenges that we’ve never had to endure before and with this, there has been a major impact on people’s mental health. 

Whether you’re the quiet one in the group, the funny one in the group, the frontline healthcare worker, the single mother at home with your children, or just your everyday person – regardless of who you are and what you do – you would have felt and seen the implications of this isolating time. 

The 10th of October is World Mental Health Day. The objective of this day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.
